GPCR symposium - Frontier on Integral Membrane Proteins
in Crystal Structure Determination - (2008.2.26)
The fiscal year of 2007 is the year of more than 2,000 citation
hits of the first GPCR structure paper, “Crystal structure of Bovine Rhodopsin” was
reported using SPring-8 in 2,000 as well as the 10th anniversary of SPring-8.
The 2007 is the jumping year of the structure determination on human integral
membrane proteins as the major drug targets; human
b2-adrenergic receptor,
leukotriene C
4 synthase and five-lipoxygenase activating protein. We organize
the symposium
the integral membrane protein structure determination from the view of their
