SPring-8 facilities opened to the public-RIKEN Open Day at Harima Institute

  On Sunday April 27, RIKEN and JASRI (Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute) held an Open Day, entitled “SPring-8, the Leading-edge of Science,” at the Spring-8 facilities in Harima. We had around 3,600 visitors, 200 more than last year. It was a nice sunny day and visitors enjoyed the greenery of the campus. The original tote bags distributed on the SCSS Test Accelerator Tour were also quite popular. We really thank everyone for coming to another successful Open Day!
